    Question The possibility of installing wii channels from actual wii disc

    One more question that I have for you all,

    Is it possible to insert a wii disc, and extract it to a wii channel so you don't need the disc in order to play it?

    Whaaaaaaaat?!
    uh no.
    We have various guides here for ripping the disks to usb devices. the consoles internal memory is totally too limited in size and access for anything like that.

    Yeah, as the commenter above said, not enough memory on the NAND for that, I think it only has 512MB's of space, Wii games are 4.73GB.
    I wonder if it would be possible with an emulated firmeware though ... I don't really see a point to it, but it would be pretty cool.
