Thread: Does the Homebrew Channel recognize USB drives?

Does the Homebrew Channel recognize USB drives?

Mine doesn't seem to. It is formatted to FAT32. None of my files show up on the homebrew channel when I use a USB drive, but they all do when I use the SD card. Any help? Thanks

Press 1 (I think...maybe 2) and menu shows asking if you want to see SD or USB, select USB

What version of HBC do you have and what guide did you follow to install it? It's possible it may be outdated.

I hacked my Wii about 3 weeks ago, and I used the LetterBomb method.

If you have HBC version 1.1.0, you should be able to press 1 on your wiimote to select the USB option, if you get to that point, make sure the partition is primary and active, FAT32, and that the homebrew applications are in the apps folder located in the root, and are you connecting the USB to the Wii through port 0 ( if the Wii is on it's stand, the USB port closest to the edge ) ?

I tried both ports, neither work. The USB flash drive is FAT32, it just won't let me press it after I press 1. Like it's not recognizing it or something..
