Thumbs up Thank you!!! A million times thank you!!!

I have been trying for over a week to soft mod my wii and play games from an sd card, to no avail... Every tutorial written or video i tried was either missing key steps, severely outdated, or just nonsensical... Then i stumbled upon this tutorial on your site... Perfect!! I am pretty proficient in electronics and computers, but i have never modded a game system... I take that back, i did help my friend hack his PS1 way back in the day to play games he bought while on a trip to his fathers birthplace, Vietnam... Sorry I am getting off track... Ur tutorial was easily followed and couldnt really ask for more... Over a week, like i stated, and i FINALLY just loaded LoZ: TP on my wii, everything seems to be going fine... I will say, the link to the "neogamma tutorial", given at the end of the softmod tut thread, was merely a neogamma channel update announcement... For the last week ive been trying to load wbfs files through neogamma, so i thought i could wing it... No luck, tried searching your site for a neogamma tutorial as nice as the softmod tutorial... Didnt really see anything helpful... Luckily, i just happened to try all the other loaders from the app_pack supplied at the end of the softmod tutorial, and wiiflow loaded up the game without a hitch... I was under the impression that neogamma was one of the only, and the only one from the app_pack, that could load games from an sd card... So one game down and tons more to go... Again, THANK YOU ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THAT SOFTMOD TUTORIAL!!!

I am so enthused and thankful because recently i had a lot of things stolen from my family... That is why it was essential i found a loader that will read off SD/SDHC, for now... My PC was taken, including external hdd, so no loading from usb until i get another one... I will have to swap games out from new computers memory to and from one 8GB SDHC and two 2GB SD cards until then... Pretty much my whole entertainment center was also taken, which contained our Wii system, accessories, games, etc etc... There was plenty more taken, but i listed what is relevant to my situation and why i am here at your site... I have currently replaced the PC and the TV... My brothers family gave us a Wii, they had two, and luckily could spare one... Then my heart dropped, was i going to have to shell out all that cash over again to buy our favorite games, or borrowing games?!? Someone told me about softmodding, and after reading how relatively safe if was, i gave it a shot... Just wish i found WiiHacks on day one instead of over a week later...

Anyway, sorry for being so long winded... Not to mention bringing u down with my sob story... I just really am overjoyed to be able to get all the wii/GC games back that my kids and i have a blast playing together... I am no longer the hardcore gamer i once was, having owned Atari, NES, SNES, N64, GC, every gameboy, PS, PS2, and Sega DC... When my oldest first asked for a game system, they asked for a Gamecube... I immediately showed my kids and all the neighborhood friends that i might be turning 34 in December.. BUT I am still that gamer that will pick up and play YOUR game for the first time ever, and within 1-2 hours you will be coming up with totally irrational ways that i might be cheating...

I know, a lot of you will respond with TLDR, but for those that do take the time to read it, I just wanted to make sure i described just how grateful i am... I will definitely not be as vocal, will probably mainly be lurking and studying from now on... Occasional question Im sure...

Oh and rest assured, after the insurance company quits Fing around, pays my claim, and i get my home back in order, i will DEFINITELY be donating...
