usb loader gx v3.0 black screen/restart problem

hi, i recently soft modded my wii using letter bomb hack and i have been having some issues with usb loader gx. As soon as i open an iso, the screen goes black and the wii freezes. I'm fairly sure its not the iso as i have used 3 or 4 that i have tested on dolphin emulator and used different settings and it always ends up freezing. I updated gx to version 3.0 and this didn't help. I ran d2x cios using the installation guide and now instead of freezing the screen goes black and restarts to the system menu.

Here's a system check if it helps.

The first step for you would be to do a proper mod. Follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide from beginning to end. This will at least get you to a point where we know your setup is correct.

ok i followed the guide and now when i open usb loader the games are shown with no cover and a blank name and when I press start on the iso the wii resets to the hbc.

also i tried opening the iso using usb configurable loader and the isos came up with out a cover and name like in usb loader gx but under game information it said the size was 0.00gb

You should also follow one of our guides to format your drive. Look HERE.

I followed the guide for fat32 format and the isos wouldn't show up and it said that no memory was used on my usb so I tried again using ntsc format and the same thing happened but I showed that memory had been used. Any other ideas of what it could be?

I also tried wbfs format and then the iso's showed up but had no disc image or name and restarted to the hbc.

    Your system Check Is Fine.
Try a different Usb Loader to see if it gives the same error.

configurable usb loader shows no disc image, says size is 0.00gb and when i press start it says IOS(249) reload: blocked
wii flow says i need d2x cios 249 rev 6 or later to run (i have d2x cios 249 rev8)
I tried installing both dios mios 2.0 and 2.2 using wad manager and MMM but it said it was installed it didn't show up in the hbc

this really doesn't want to work for me lol

Dios Mios ain't gonna show up in the report.
Make sure HDD is on the Compatibility List.->Link Here
Also you might want to check the HDD out for Bad sector's etc.
Go to the site of your HDD and see if they have a program to check it out.
