NAND Backup FAIL
I recently followed the softmod any wii guide to update my wii because I had already installed HBC and BootMii via hackmii installer a few years ago and never updated since then. Everything went fine except my NAND back up. I also realized that I LOST my old NAND backup that I made previously. So I wanted to make a new one but when I tried to load BootMii my wii restarted. Everytime I try to load BootMii from HBC the menu pops up really quickly like a flash and then my wii reboots itself as if the program isnt working correctly. How do I make a new NAND backup?

You need the bootmii files on your SD card in order to launch bootmii. A simple fix would be to launch the Hackmii Installer, select "install bootmii", then "prepare an sd card". That will write the required files to SD. After that you can launch bootmii.
Thanks I got it to work, it was because I wasn't preparing the SD after installing bootmii before.
I'm having almost the exact same problem, apart from the fact that installing bootmii as an iOS and preparing the SD card doesn't help at all. Every time I try and load BootMii from the HomeBrew Channel, the menu seems to flash for half a second and then the Wii resets itself.
This is a 4.3e Wii and all I have done is install the HBC via the Letterbomb method. Please help!
Do you have the proper files on your sd card?

I followed the Softmod ANY Wii guide by Guide Bot on this site, so I'm pretty sure I have all the correct files on the SD card. I have 'prepared the SD' in Hackmii as well. Within the 'bootmii' folder on the SD card is the following:
- bootmii text document
