Burning GC Games to a Disc

Hey guys, haven't introduced myself yet, but I'm Dave. Not sure how long I've had this username here, or why I even had it, but I'm having a major issue and hoping some of you can help.

It started this morning. I like to stream a lot, and figured I would like to stream some games from my Wii. I had a suggestion of playing Twilight Princess GC version, and went ahead to try to get that working. BIG MISTAKE. My wii was letterbombed from a while ago, and I had never installed a CIOS. So I did that, (https://sites.google.com/site/comple...s/installation) and followed that exact tutorial. Then proceeded to install a cmios, (https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/gamecube) and followed that one to the point as well.

After I finally got all of that to work, I tried installing 2 different roms to 3 different types of discs. Verbatim DVD+R, Verbatim DVD-R, and Memorex DVD+R. Now after reading tons and tons of articles on how to do this, I finally came across a great article that told me about changing the booktype, and that got my hopes high. I've wasted 15+ DVD's today trying to find the right setting for me. I've burned at speeds from 1,2,4,8,10x with all the damn discs.

I'm down to my last thoughts, and now waiting on an 'expert' opinion on what the hell is going on. I know I have a 'newer' wii with the ability to play burned wii games without the hassle. Also I've tried the default launcher, GC Launcher and NeoGamma EVERY time I tried a new disc. I am extremely thorough when it comes to this stuff and I've been at it for about 4 hours now. The ONLY thing that I'm thinking COULD be it is this; when I installed the cmios it said I could use ios236 or 249, it only worked when I chose 236, but NeoGamma is running ios249. Just a thought. HELP!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Wow...Some many Trucha bug, it's not needed.
Also your System menu is running off of ios61 when it should be using Ios58.

What I would suggest is to follow the Soft Mod Any Guide,Link is at the Bottom of my Signature.

Follow it all the way through.
This will over write everything ,so you won't need to delete anything.
Start from Soft Mod With Homebrew Channel Installed or from the beginning.
Please read The Guide A Few Times ,then Proceed.

    Your Welcome,DaveyDoom.

I will do this right now, and update when I am finished. What would you suggest? Starting from the absolute beginning? Will starting from 'Homebrew Already Installed' remove all the Bugs I have in my OS'?

You can start from Soft Mod With Homebrew Channel Installed ,this will be fine.
This will update everything and install clean Ios's ,replacing the Trucha ios's.
You will not need to update after your done, because you will have everything you need.

I am making a NAND backup ATM. Since I wiped my HBC clean from my SD (made a backup of course), can I put all the stuff from the previous HBC back on it, or should I do clean installs of everything?

At the end of the Guide you will be Giving all the apps you need for HBC,but yes you can save those apps to your computer.
Then you can put whatever apps you want back on the Sd Card once your done.
