Can my wii run burnt discs?

    Serial number: LU35499541
The Wii has a RVL-001(USA) model number and is produced for Canada/Mexico/USA.
    The copyright year is 2006

There is a 50% chance the chipset is GC2-D2E
.And there is also a 25% chance the chipset is GC2-D2C2 (v2) and the drive has the new metal clip
    .Lastly, a 25% chance the chipset is GC2-D2C (v1).

I have been trying to get games to run through sd card, but this has been a very difficult process for me. I soft modded my wii last night which took about 4 hours to get the cios working. I am basically about to give up on getting games to run through SD and am going to just try through discs. I ordered 50 4.7GB last night, and am still trying to get SD working in the meantime (for the possibility of it not reading the discs.)

Yes your drive should read burnt discs. You should really look into USB loading though. It will save your drive in the long run. Burnt discs only read at 3x instead of 6x for originals, making your drive work twice as hard.
