Just quick question loading backups in Neogamma via USB HDD
I'm trying to load an ISO form the external hard drive via Neogamma. The Wii I have is borrowed from a friend and previously soft modded by the owner with a backup that they made on an USB/SD card loader. The backup on the SD card via USB stick loader works fine, however the backup I'm attempting to load from my external HDD is not. I did some searching around for the past half hour for answers, and most of the stuff I found is regarding how to soft mod your Wii. I don't really need to know that, since that part's taken care of.
I guess what I'm asking is, are there certain files/folders that need to be on the drive/SD in order for it to properly load a backup? It is a PAL backup, if that helps.
You will need to have the usb Loader Gx/Cfg Loader/WiiFlow on your Sd card/Usb Hdd or the channel installed on your Wii.Check Here--->Usb Loader Gx
Also the Hdd would need to be formatted to Fat32 and set to primary and active. Check Here--->Fat32 Guide
It also would need to be Compatible with the Wii.Check Here--->Usb Compatibility List
Okay, um, I still need Gx/Cfg Loader/WiiFlow even if I have Neogamma and all of that already on the Wii? As I said Neogamma channel is on the Wii and comes with the ability to load from USB.
Yes,You can use Neogamma for Usb loading....I was giving you alternatives to neogamma.
Pal games will need to be forced to Ntsc in the options of the loader, for you to play them.

I tried forcing NTSC which got rid of the black and white, however the game just went to a black screen and I had to turn off the Wii by holding down the power button. I will try with a different back-up and see if it's just that one. So I don't need any files other than the backup on the hard drive in order for it to work, right?
Okay, the 2nd backup worked. I read somewhere that I might have to install a new cIOS? I guess I'll try that...
Edit: Now if only I could find out how to add the cIOS install folder to the WBFS drive... WBFS Manager doesn't seem to let me...
