Thread: Pls check if Wii is fully bricked

  1. #1

Exclamation Pls check if Wii is fully bricked

    Here are the specs:

    • Used ModMii for Windows by xflak
    • White PAL Wii
    • System Menu: 4.3E (PAL)
    • Serial: LEH268692696
    • BootMii as IOS (Boot2 Incompatible)
    • Priiloader was installed
    • Has NAND back up

I was playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 when suddenly the Wii gave off a loud beeping sound and the screen froze. Tried to push the buttons on the Wiimote but nothing happened so I turned it off from the power source. When I turned it back on, it's just black screen. I tried to boot the Wii while holding the reset button but nothing although I installed Priiloader when I softmodded it. Bootmii can't be installed as boot2 since it's one of the newer Wii's.

Please is there any work around that I can do? Is it fully bricked?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I hold the reset button after turning the Wii on but no it doesn't load the Priiloader. Still black screen.

I am no expert on these bricks, so maybe one of the mods can help you.

I hope so. I'm just waiting for them to read my thread since you can't send them a PM if you're not a site donator. Fingers crossed.

Okay. Time for the hail Mary.

    1. Remove EVERYTHING from your wii. No SD, no usb, no GC controllers
    2. Remove power supply from back of wii.
    3. Remove power cord from power outlet
    -WAIT 15 mins-
    4. Plug wii in & see what happens.

If it comes on, add things back one at a time.

Hi Blu, removed everything and waited for 15mins (more in fact since I left it unplugged)

Tried to boot Priiloader but no luck.
