Neogamma back-up loader is a channel that allows you to play back-up games. So if you take your original game, make a copy of it, store the original somewhere safe, you can load the back-up using NeoGamma. USB back-up loader is a channel that allows loading back-up games form an external hard drive. So if you rip your original game to a hard drive (by using cleanrip or the back-up loader), you can load the back-up form the drive using the back-up loader.

To use homebrew, the homebrew channel needs to be installed and you need to place the desired application on either a SD card, or a usb drive/stick, in a folder named apps (create it if it does not exist).
