    DVD+R Issues

Is there anyway for the wii to read DVD+R? Using NeoGamma I get errors every time.

How new is your Wii? If it's less than a few years old, it won't be able to read any backup media no matter what you do to it, save swapping out the DVD drive with one from an older Wii.

We'd recommend you look into USB Loading. It is much more reliable.

This thread: http://www.wiihacks.com/dumping-burn...not-dvd-r.html says it's a crap shoot if +r will work or not, and recommends -R.

If +R doesn't work, I don't think that there is anything that you can do other than to try -Rs.

Thanks anyways I probably should have looked at the forums before going out and buying +R. I'll know for next time. Thanks.

If your gonna use discs, get vertabim dvd -r. Some others may or may not work. I have had some +r's work, but some not.

Whatever u do don't get memorex! I bought some dual layer because they were on sale and cheap. I tried to burn a Xbox360 game on one and it wouldn't even burn it. It would start then give a copywright error.

Sucked it started to write to the disc then gave the error, leaving the disc ruined. Not that it was any good to begin with. LOL.
