Ca Playing Joysound on n. american wii

    So here's the situation guys...

I need someone to point me in the right direction to get a legit Japanese game (Joysound) to work on an american wii with access to the Japanese shopping channel.

I've tried researching this and I noticed that you can permanently brick your wii so I'd like to be sure that I do this right. To be honest I don't even play wii, but about a year ago i got Homebrew working so that my wife can play backup games...i do not remember what i did to get this working :P

What I can tell you is that I'm on system menu 4.2u. I know i need to delete the american shopping channel and then change the region but when i go to the shopping channel my only option is to update and I'm not sure if i should.

I also know that I need AnyRegion Changer but I have not been able to find a good step-by-step tutorial.

Can anyone help? (Happy wife = happy life)

    Thanks

Run through the Softmod ANY Wii guide (link in my sig). That will put you on 4.1, which can play games from different regions. Since it's a Jap game, you won't need to change the video signal (Wiis from Japan and North American are both NTSC).
