Out of the game for a while, suggestions?
I used to use this forum a couple of years ago, and I haven't even played my Wii for a couple of years! I am interested to know what I have missed in the mean time.
I have a PAL Wii with system 4.1E, running Homebrew Channel 1.08 (which I believe is still the latest version?) I use USB Loader GX to play games from an external USB drive. I'm pretty sure I have the latest version of this, automatic updater within the program shows no new updates. Everything works still, and I even downloaded the new Zelda last week which to my surprise worked just fine! So my questions are:
1) Is it worth upgrading from system 4.1E, and if so what's the safest way to do it? I've notice that the shop doesn't work any more on my version.
2) Is there a decent N64 emulator yet?
3) Any other "must have" apps/mods that somebody out of the game since 2009 would have missed?
Any help appreciated.
