if you have ntsc wii the update wont kill ur wii...what are the first 3 digits of your wii? this can give a better estimate of what chip is used.

we have used it on just over 10 installs so far for d2c/d2c2 and none have come back yet so looking good so far....will try some on d2es

the labels arent recommended ..and thats probably causing the slow eject...if they are slippery labels or paper the roller doesnt grab onto it to push the disc out and suck it in

another member on here had similar issue...try unplugging the power brick and leave it unplugged for a few minutes.....then plug it back in

ur chip is probably fine...install the hombrew channel and gecko os and try loading the games that give u the error through the os...below is tut how to install the homebrew channel

stick with the original wiikey..cause that chip is built for D2B drives.

Try using the verbatim media burnt at 2x to 4x with imgburn or clone cd (latest)

They will replace it with the same D2B drive...cause different drives carries different voltages and signal processing.

did you set the jumpers for the PAL region?

Pioneer burner (any series)...works flawlessly with d2pro modded wiis

if you have a pal unit u shouldnt be updating off ntsc games ....u can remove the update off the disc but will need teh gecko os to launch those games if u have 3.3 update

correct...even though ur system is pal u can play ntsc u and ntsc j...no software is needed

no it doesnt matter as long as you get a d2pro9 v3 with 2.3/1.6 firmware already on there

If you have any bugs or issues with d2sun (any version) please post them all here so if other users have similar issues they can go to one thread to find a solution.

The d2pro9s now have a better build quality but previously there were batches of bad chips. There was a batch where the oscialtors were not soldered onto the board properly and people had to reflow...

all wiis can be modded and you probably just have a regular d2c you can pm or post the first 3 numeric digits of serial number and i can tell u right away what u have.
