Here is how to format your HDD to fat 32. Wiiflow, etc will run from this format without SD card. You do not need a wbfs partition with this method, only a folder named "wbfs" to place the games in....

Some sdhc cards will work with some Wii's but they are not recommended. If you have an external hard drive(hdd) and it is fat32 formatted, you can run all your apps from there. There is even an app...

I have had trouble with forwarders before also. I used customizemii to open an older forwarder and replaced the .dol with the .dol found in your apps/wiiflow folder.

I can get it to load fine from disc, using Neogamma with 249, no alt dol needed. I tried GX and had no luck. I'll try to see if I can figure something more out tomorrow as far as HDD loading.

Ok I am ripping it to my HDD as we speak. If I am still up in abt 47 mins, I'll see if I have a similar issue with playing from HDD.

d2x is just the latest revision of your cIOS. Have you tried using another loader, such as CFG or Wiilow?

Are you booting the game using 249 as ios select in the individual game settings? Is the game set to the correct region for your console? Is error fix 002 enabled?

I haven't tested it yet since updating. If I recall correctly I think only 1 and 2 were playable from HDD anyway. I will have to put them back on my HDD, if you haven't found a fix, I'll be able to...

you need to use wiiscrubber to extract the .dols which then go onto the root of your sd. The game is then loaded with GX, selecting the proper .dol for whatever game you wish to play.

not sure if OP Cobalt saw my previous post as I was editing, but Shadows .dol extraction worked for me when using cIOSx rev 20 anyway, I'll have to confirm since updating....
