For USB Loader GX its in the settings then under Loader settings. I don't know how to change it on configureable usb loader considering that I haven't used it since I modded my wii.

I believe its an option when you start the usb loader..at least for me it is.

Have you tried loading it through a different ios like 249 or 250? Your problem was the exact same as mine before I changed HDDs and my fix was to format it to FAT32 and change the ios to 249 for...
