Here's my situation anyways:

I had 4.2E softmodded Wii - nothing special, done by following well-known messie's guide and it worked flawlessly...

Uninstall it thru WAD manager, go to GBATemp NeoGamma beta thread, get the new one and install it again thru WAD manager :)

This sounds like you deleted stuff from your SD card ... for bootmii to work and for HBC to display it's apps you need to keep stuff on your SD...
