Used wii to rip from dvd instead of copying from iso using pc. Seems GX loader doesn't like the WBFS manager for other regions.

Hard drive is a seagate, which, from what I read, are all compatible, tried what I could in loader to get them to work. I think jerseywii is right. I have to lump it for now. Or download games again....
