Keano I can verify that i've used you file on 4 wii's

its probably just a corrupt file elsewhere on the disk or the user pulled the Sd card out...

Apps/Firmware-updater/boot.dol

you'll need to rename the file to boot.dol

good call Dogeggs I'd also locate Wii Tools 1.4 and use the tools in that to remove brick blocker aswell on your BACKEDUP games lol

What I would now recomend you do is use a USB sd card reader on your pc to see if the disk is corrupt as putting his file across might just be a coincidence and not a fault of his ,try a new SD card...
