In retrospect I would have followed the advise given in wiihacks and installed ios57 or iso38...

I, as by the looks of it many, fell into the trap of updating cios 249 using ios 37 as a base (via ciosx rev19 - monster hunter fever : -)...

I've had a interesting journey so far trolling the forums.
