Is there a way to boot directly to CFG Loader? I am using a forwarder channel. I only use the CFG channel and it would save time if I could just go there directly by skipping the wii menu.

Try using CFG. If that doesn't work, use Usb Loader gx.

Yea. Use wiiflow or CFG loader and insert your original disk. Make sure you have your HDD plugged in. Then use instructions from the first post to rip it to your HDD.
