In the guide where it says to run Cios Installer after installing starfall.

Well in the folder from the download link there is two dol files
a boot.dol and a cios rev7...

Nothing just make a new folder in the apps folder with the name of the new GUI put the boot.dol file inside it and run it through the homebrew channel.

the ret -1 error usally concerns the sd card.Try reformatting the card and starting over or try a different card.

If its that easy then this is the most idiot proof way of installing homebrew channel.

It means put it the root not the wad folder.
This is needed for an offline install of the rev8.If your doing it offline the dol will look for that wad file in the root.

I had starfall when i was on 3.2 and i even tried preloader on 3.2 but it gave me nothing but errors and i could never get it to install properly.

Couldnt you just use the format feature that the wii has built in? Of couse it would remove any and all saves/downloaded VC/wiiware games but you can always redownload those later.

If you have a U console why not just get the usa/ntsc version of pikmin?
I know the pal came out like 2 days before the usa one but its out now.I just burnt it last night and it plays with no issues.

I've used +r in mine and they play but theres a big difference from the -r.
The +r click in the drive 10 times louder in mine.I just did it as a test i only use -r now.
