i recently downloaded mario kart wii and i burnt it using a memorex dvd at 1x and when i put it in my wii i get the "disk could not be read error" i'm using the latest firmware with the wiikey 1.9s...

yes it MUST be 1.9g that's what was screwing me up.

he did say that i found out the problem though the friend who gave me my update gave my 1.9b i got it working a little bit ago and if people want to play ssbb with my i have my code in the code...

original ssbb games wil not work on a wii modded with a wiikey i don't know if there is a way around this yet or not.

it was the because it was a memorex dvd. i used a verbatim dvd+r and it worked perfectly. thanks for the help...

dumping refers to taking the origonal wii disk and "dumpng" it onto your computer (making the backup). burning is taking the backup and putting it onto a disk to play on you wii.

i'm using memorex dvd+r atm i have a few other games burnt on them that work. i'm sorry i have no idea what i'm doing exactly so if i'm leaving anything out let me know
