Sorry I have been gone for awhile, yea your saved data isn't located on your hdd it is stored on your Wii itself. I run my backup copy of AC off the hdd and my edit the saved data the same way.

Are you just trying to run a hard-drive from a computer? A IDE/SATA to USB device that you can purchase.
Have you tried to format it to just FAT?
I have had problem with coping games with GX in the past; I realized that using ULoader to copy them and GX to run them worked out for the best. It wouldn't hurt to try..
I would suggest using maybe another formatting program, that would cancel out the fact that it would be the format used on the sandisk and more towards a fault in the card itself.

Did you use GX or did you downloaded it from a torrent?
Use ULoader to copy the disc, I had problems uploading it to my hdd using GX. Just copy the disc...
