A few days ago I followed ShadowSonic2 guide "Softmod for ANY 4.2 Wii!" and "Loading and Playing Wii Backup Games from USB HDD" by gen3sf to mod my Wii

All was good (even with GX Loader)...

In Step #4 is wants me to remove iOS223, iOS249 and iOS250, however in my install only 250 was there which I removed.
Anything to be concerned about?

Downgrading IOS15 v257
Install Complete
Reloading IOS15 (v257)
Restoring IOS36 to v3351

Apply ES_Identify patch to IOS36? YES
Apply NAND Permissions Patch? YES

Just got a full unmodded ISO again...,, so we'll see when I update tonight. :)

Have you tried setting WODE to PAL mode?
Is your Wii NTSC?
Have you updated WODE to the latest version?

Looks like all of us with WBFS will have to resize the HD and make a small "FAT32/NTFS" partition and copy ISO to it with the .bca in there. Pretty lame if you ask me. :(

I had my WODE for about a week.. and I absolutely LOVE it.
Actually I just tested 1 game that was giving me black screen (in softmod) before and it worked with WODE.

Yes, you have to open your Wii to install WODE, but it's not that hard.., just check out the FAQs with the video guide. Fairly simple.

I guess it depends on how many games you want the HD to hold..., if you have only a few games then with ISO you get easier management, if you have more need for space then WBFS is a way to go....
