It looked screwy to me. I was on and it kicked tons of people when you posted that message. Luigi didn't respond to my triggers either.
I've used a 40GB IDE, 500GB, 1TB and 1.5TB sata externals and all have worked for me. Keep in mind you can always return the hard drive if it doesn't work and get another one.
When you have under 10 blocks it's not that big of a big deal. I think when you get around 40 or 50 it becomes a problem and your nand backup could be unreliable. I've heard that bad blocks could be...
3 blocks failing is not a big deal. You can move on with the guide. The problem is when TONS of blocks fail.
Nubz is right. Not all wiis can read backed up games from disc and unless your wii is older there's a good chance you won't be able to and will be limited to loading games from a usb external hard...
I've been waiting on this to come out and have been telling people about it. Awesome app since without an AED all cpr is doing is buying the person time.
Didn't see the main story about megaupload. Thanks red-n@ncy!
That's normal. When you get TONS of bad blocks that's when you worry. You can keep going with the guide.
Accounts merged. You have all your old posts again.
jambo1082- make a new account and post here with your new username. I will then merge the two accounts so you can retain all of your data
A good tip would be don't make another topic after a mod has closed your last one due to a rules violation. We do NOT support cheating.

If the game started then it's not a region issue. The fact that it freezes in the middle of the game makes me suspect either a hard drive spin down issue or a bad transfer to your hard drive. Were...
Take a look at the guides you were linked. They will tell you how to set up the hard drive and put games on it. Also please use the edit button in the future instead of triple posting.

VERY grey area. An example would be wii sports. When the wii first came out it had a different version of the same game than the version that comes with the new wiis now. Due to this version...
And if that doesn't work maybe try to borrow someone else's power adapter just to rule that out as a possibility. Even bricked wii's get power lights of some sort and color. Possibly a blown fuse?...

I've got a very old boot2 version wii and have never had an overheating problem. Could it possibly be your hard drive? If you have a compatible flash drive maybe you could put a game on that and see...
1. The blue $99 wii is the one that does not have GC support. Older black wiis have GC support but ANY wii you buy new will not be able to load games via backed up disc but can load from external...
You burn like you do any other iso. IMGburn is a great free program. Many wii games are VERY small and the other data that brings it to 4.7GB is junk 0's added to fill the empty space. When you burn...
