How are you loading games? Do you have a mod chip and use the disc channel? If you use some other (decent) loader, it wont even read the update, it will just skip it. I mean, who uses the disc...

I used DVD+R for awhile and I could hear the wii trying to read the discs. it was loud so i switched to -R. Verbatims are the best, I bought Taiyo Yudens and they wouldnt even read at all.

I used neogramma R7 and an alt dol file to load it with rev 14. no issues. I turned on the alt dol, watched video, wii rebooted, turned off alt dol, game loaded fine.

I got it working. i switched from 13b to 13a and now it plays with GX channel
