if you didnt manage to install the ios30 before installing system menu 290 then you have killed it (i Think)
unless you have installed bootmii as boot2? when you installed the hackmii installer...

try the savemii thing with new super mario brother disc (if you can borrow it) it has a 4.1 update. DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK THOUGH???

the only way to flash the os is using bootmii or a nand...
