Glad you found a solution.
Yeah this is the wierdest issue with mh3 i've ever heard. I'm at a complete loss as to what the cause might be...region maybe? No idea.
Did anyone ever find a solution for this? I have a copy of the disc, I use USB loading for loading screen purposes. I had my monster hunter tri working flawlessly up until recently. The only new...
if you have cIOS38 rev 17, and you're loading it with ios 249 or 222, and you still get this you have a bad copy.
You have to rip SSBB with IOS 222. I rented it from gamefly and didn't do this, so...
um, my monster hunter tri is widescreen on USB loader GX...
You're probably not supposed to use Force NTSC either. You can't region force tri I think.
I've never had that problem, but I know SSBB is picky about the options you select for it to load. My best advice would be to make multiple SSBB wads with different loading options you think will...
After the credits roll, I get the black screen again. I'm loading it with 249. Even after the cIOS38 rev 17.
Any other ideas?
EDIT:
I've followed these steps. What I did is moved my SSBB...
Right, I've been there and seen that. I'm trying to get rev 17 running now, but the rar file come with a .dol file, and the installation instructions say to install a wad. I don't see a wad in this...

Use loadstructor and cLoader.
This is a common issue so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Every time I search for it, its either not my exact problem or they point to a guide I've already looked at like this...
if it's the newest version of USB Loader GX, then download a previous version. People are having problems with the newest one I hear.
Lol, I have the same HDD as you OP!
Black screen errors are usually fixable via the settings in USB Loader GX. When you click on a game, it brings up the disc image spinning. Click 'settings' and...

the simplest solution is sometimes the hardest to think of.
Replace the batteries, read instructions for syncing wii remotes from your user manual, make sure it's working before you boot up the...
I agree, this could very easily be a USB hard drive compatability issue. Try that device manager check.
If it were your usb cable, the drive wouldn't light up or make noise as if in use. It wouldn't hurt to try a different cable though. I honestly don't know what your issue could be here; it seems your...
I'm surprised you only got 10 days. I understood it as cheat=lifetime ban.
I don't really understand cheating in a game of patience like this. It's readily obvious if you don't know how a fight...
Instead of cloning is it possible to move the games off your friends harddrive to your computer? You could just plug in your new harddrive then and copy them over. I wouldn't go through the trouble...
Did you really just quote yourself in the span of 1 post?
Wow, someone has an ego.
Right, I forgot the update blocking feature. Very important if you want to avoid an update repair. You might as well install both if you can then, OP.
Yeah, try a different computer. It sounds like the hard drive recognizes being plugged in(you said it made noise), but the computer doesn't see it. Usually you'll get a prompt saying "windows cannot...
if you can use bootmii. Newer wii's can't install bootmii to boot2. If this is the case your only option is priloader.
Well, you clearly didn't do your research on this one OP. Everyone knew Wii Speak was garbage. And the virtual keyboard is nothing compared to a REAL keyboard. Get it.
And every new game is going...
I know on my windows 7 and on Vista, the operating system won't detect your WBFS formatted drive, but WBFS manager will! So make sure that the drive is WBFS formatted, don't let windows reformat your...
I'm guessing here, but your problem lies in the reason for the disc drive error when you're loading. Possibly something wrong with your drive. Does it play regular retail discs?
