Use DMToolbox instead. It's a GUI version of DiscEX so you have more control over the inputs and outputs.

It come with DM 2.9. Besure the .dll included is in the same directory as the .exe.

With DM it will allow USB loading, correct? I only have 2 gig SD cards and I would rather use my 32 gig USB stick.

yes. DM is for USB loading. DML is for SD loading.

The directory structure for both are identicle (install the games in /games directory).

Make sure the USB drive is formatted FAT32 with 32k clusters. DM will fail if it's more than that (I heard smaller capacity devices will work with 16k clusters, but if you can get 32k, that's better).

If by that you mean what format/cluster size, use the same thing. FAT32, 32kb cluster size.

I've been trying over the last day or so to get gamecube games working but I'm coming across this app loader size is zero problem, not sure what I need to do to solve the problem I've done what the guides on here offer.

Tried DML to play SD card style and I get the error, switched over to DM to play from Flash drive and it wants me to have a copy of the game in SD slot still. Get the game copied into flash and USB and it's back to the app loader size is zero error.

I thought the DM version didn't require the game to be copied into the SD card since it's working from the USB slot??

    Thanks for reading!

I don't mean to double post but this site said something about security token not valid when I wanted to edit my post

What program do you guys use to change cluster size for Fat32? My computer formatting only gives me the default size for fat32(windows XP) and EaseUS Partition Master 9.2.2 doesn't offer a way to change cluster size for fat32 only NTFS, I feel like I'm so close to getting this to work but I just don't know where things are going wrong.

EaseUs has the option to pick the cluster size if you are reformatting an existing partition, not when you are making a new one.

It will still wipe your data, so back it up first. Then don't select "delete partition/create partition", instead "format partition", then you can pick the setting.

As for app error zero and copying to SD even if you have DM installed, you're using an old version of USB loader. Those are both symptoms of the same issue. I have the latest version of three USB loaders in my signature. Upgrade the one you use and see if that helps.

Not trying to dispute EaseUS, but the app I linked to allows conversion of cluster size without loss of data.
