Quick question, picking up a 32gig SDHC card tomorrow, and am wondering if after I'm done with all of this setup and have my gamecube games ripped onto it, can I put all the homebrew stuff from my old 2gig SD card onto the 32gig one? Or will the 32gig card have to be reserved exclusively for Gamecube loading, and swap with my 2gig SD card when I want to use my normal homebrew stuff? I'd prefer to keep it all on the one larger card so I don't have to swap out :P

Thanks! And thank you for the really fast response! Can't wait to tinker around with this tomorrow.

Sorry, one more quick one while it's on my mind, couldn't seem to find anything on the Lite version. Will I need a Gamecube memory card for my save files when running games through this, or will the saves go on the SD?

Thanks, I think I'll play it safe and go with a memory card then.

Ran into a problem converting the ISO with the discex file.. realized that DERP, it's because I'm on a Mac, and .exe is a PC thing.. If I run windows in bootcamp (I'm getting Windows 7 in the mail in a few days coincidentally), will I be able to use the discex.exe deal on my ISO's properly, or will it "know" I'm on a Mac and still not convert the files right?

It will work fine. Even though you're on Apple hardware, it's still windows.

Though, I'd suggest using DMToolbox (which comes with DM 2.6 from the google code site). It generates the same output, but easier to use. But if you are comfortable with how to use DiscEx, it will still do the job.

No clue how to use DiscEx at all, so I'll have to check out DMToolbox because I'm a complete and utter PC noob. Thank you, puts my mind at ease. I love being able to switch between all my games without having to get up (so lazy, I know) so being able to rip all my gamecube games to an SD and take a little pressure off of my already iffy disc drive is a godsend, until I ran into that issue :P

I'm at a complete loss. I followed everything step by step, but regardless of what I do, I get a Fatal Error Apploader size is zero! I'm using Neogamma, ripped the disk fine using cleanrip, used discexe.exe to get the file, put the file in the games folder, and did all the rest, but it just wont load Help me Obi Wan Wiihacker, you're my only hope!

Neogamma is way out of date. Try a more up to date USB loader. If you are still having issues, try a different USB device.
