SD card compatibility is much smaller from 1.0 and up than from the revs.

I have used mauifrog guide, on a Wii4.3U do I have everything needed to use this new version?

And does this version use DML meaning I can run the gamecube games with it, instead of Neogama?

    thanks in advance..

    hi, minor problem

First off I want to thank everyone in the scene involved with the entire wii scene. I'm grateful for everything.

I have an issue with DML/GCN loader. The isos via sd card run great so far even though I've only tested out paper mario the thousand year old door. However, I can't seem to load up my other original discs. Normally I wouldn't mind since just about every game I own is fully playable EXCEPT mario superstar baseball. Whenever I try loading it up via disc channel, GCN loader pops up and it just checks to make sure a disc is in then it loads up paper mario from my sd card. I tried removing my sd card then loading mario baseball original disc but it boots up to the gcn loader screen and freezes.

I tried deleting neo gamma from the wii homebrew channel but that just took it off of my wii channels. I assume that some CIOS or the wad for the GCN loader itself is blocking me from playing my original disc mario baseball. There's also no option in neogamma to load originals from what I can tell. I would play it as an iso via sd card, but unfortunately, there's no BGM when playing according to the DML compatibility list. I know you're not supposed to uninstall a CIOS, so I wont.

What I'm basically asking is, is there anyway to play my original gc game discs without potentially bricking my wii? Is it possible to install a wad over the CIOS thats autobooting to gcn loader so that I may play my original GC discs? Thanks a bunch for help.

    No GC Button

I installed the latest cIOS pack using d2x v8-final (downloaded from WiiFloWiki), installed DMLr58 wad (downloaded from the DML post), and have Wiiflow version 2.2 r426. Wiiflow itself runs just fine; I can load Wii games without issue. When I click the lower-right button (in the Starnight theme), it will only cycle between the USB Drive and the real NAND. There is no GC button, nor is there an emulated NAND option either, but I'm more concerned about the Gamecube. I do have a correctly ripped GC image on my SD drive, as per the DML guide. That game happens to be Mario Party 7. I've run wiiflow with and without a disc in the wii. From everything I've read, the GC button should be available in Wiiflow. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Will that also work for me?

Ok forget about it I figured out what was wrong. The gc loader, or DML 1.2 was configured via neogamma to run games through sd card. All I had to do was install another version of DML (i went from 1.2 to 1.4) and not touch neogamma and originals work again. Granted to play games via sd card you'll have to reinstall the version of DML that works with the game you want to play, but that's a small price to pay especially considering that you can just keep all revisions of DML in the wad folder of your sd card.

DML has been working great for me so far, however, there seems to be a fatal flaw with the GameCube Microphone. It's noted lightly on the compatibility list with Mario Party 7, but it seems to go beyond that.

The system runs normally outside of the cIOS with the mic plugged in. Once the system is rebooted into GC mode, the entire execution halts until the mic is removed. If you attempt to insert the mic again, the system seems to halt at certain timed cycles.

I don't suppose there'd be any way to boot DML in a debugging mode to see where the execution halts?
