Hi Guys thanks for the replys, the superkarts iso ive got was created through imgburn from my cousins superkarts wii disc when he came to visit on holiday last weekend and unfortunatly hes taken it back with him... so i guess i need the disc inable to install it to the usb HDD? or can it be installed with the iso i have made from it?

ive just hooked up the usb drive to the computer and i have got drive K: which i can access and has 2 folders in. one called :7130aadfb9067a05cecf and the other called wbfs which Katachristic mentioned to make... i have got mario kart which the game is scratched to hell no thanks to my nephew, im going to download the iso seeming tho i have the origonal disk (which does not load due to the deep scratches on it) which is fine coz i have the original right? ive formated the HDD useing EASEUS Partition Master 7.0.1 Professional Edition to fat 32 and created a folder called wfbs. now do i place the iso of superkarts in that folder which is an iso file? imrealy getting my self confused as im not sure what guide to follow as one of them says i have to install Hermes cIOS222/223 or with cIOSx Rev 19 + which i read on one guide that if i followed this guide then i wont need it?is it me confusing myself or am i just getting them mixed up with each other?

how can i do the format, loading iso of either mario kart or superkart's and then playing as one disc has gone back to my cousin and the other has real deep scratches on and wont load.

Thank you again for helping me and i hope i can sort this mess out and play again.

    EDIT:

ok so ive managed to get the superkarts to load and work but however i have downloaded a wbfs of mario kart as mentiond above i have the disc but its scratched and wont load. ive created a wbfs folder on the fat32 partition and placed it in there but how can i find out the ID for the file so i can rename it to the file like you mentiond i had to do?

Use the WiiBackupManager Open it and and click the Drive 1 tab, then click the rectangular shape where it say's Inactive then choose which Drive Letter is your USB Hardrive which you mention is K:/

After that click the Files Tab and click Add click Files.. then go ahead and choose where your .iso is saved click Open then you'll see the added iso game on the list of WiiBackupManager

Then click Select then click Items not on Drive 1 then after that click Transfer then click Drive 1 and there you go it will transfer your iso to your hardrive..

    I'm stuck on Chapter 2 - part 1.
After extracting modpack, cios pack, and iso update files into my fat32 sd card (512mb) and checking sums, with wine because i'm on linux, when I turn on the Wii a black screen appears with the following message
    cboot2 v16 loaded
    IOS version 36 v16 0x00240010
    IOS successfully loaded
then nothing happens. Pressing buttons don't work and the only choice I have is to turn off the wii, by pressing and holding the power button.
My wii version is 4.1U and I'm updating from old softmod (I didn't have MMM). I tried to re-follow all the steps (beggining from softmoding with HBC installed), format my SD card, change SD card to a micro sd of 1gb and 2 gb and both didn't work.

    Thank you.

Format your sd card again, then extract the ciospack and modpack to your sd card. If that fails there is an alternate method at the end of chapter 2 that you can use.

    hi guys
I finished this tutorial a few weeks ago, but the kids are having trouble using cfgusbloader, and are always asking me to start the games for them. so im trying to add usbloaderGX so they can use it on their own, but I noticed that the appspack at the end of the tutorial doesnt have the wad folder. So Im a little stuck. should I just create a folder named wad and copy the USBLoader_GX_V2_1_UNLR_Channel_AHBPROT.wad to the wad folder I created on the SD card, or should I just move the whole wad folder that's in USBLoader_GX_V2_1_R1080_AllinOnePackage_IOS249 folder. I'm following Gen3SF's guide
"Loading and Playing Wii Backup Games from USB HDD (softmod only)" and I want to forward the loader and make it a channel in the wii channel page, and also because its easier to update by replacing the boot.dol file.

I have copied usbloader_gx folder to the app folder on my sd card, but not sure what to do regarding the wad folder, can some one please give me some advise on adding the wad folder.

    Thank You

Steps to follow base on my own settings..

First: Check your Drive Format (FAT, NTFS, FAT32, etc...)

Then see if your Drive is (Marked Partion as Active) via Computer Management Under Disk Management

If so,, Download all the necessary files USBLoader_GX_V2_1_R1080_AllinOnePackage_IOS249

Extract it to your Computer (Desktop, or where do you want to extract it..)

There you will see 2 Folders (Apps, Wad)

Copy the apps Folder to the root of your SD Card or Portable Hard drive
    Overwrite if Ask

Next make sure you have a WAD manager app to install the Forwarder or Channel of the GX
    If not download it here
    http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-custom-s...-official.html

Copy the apps folder to the root of your SD Card or Portable Hard drive

Now Copy the WAD folder of the GX to the Root of your SD Card or Hard drive

Run the Homebrew then run the Wad Manager

Run on IOS249, press a, etc..
Select the storage device to use which is in your Case SD Card
    Select the wad folder
    select USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_3_0_AHBPROT.wad
    install it..

After it's done press b to go back, then press home to exit..
you have now the GX forwarder on the wii homescreen

    then run the GX
It will mount your drive/SD Card
then load the app which is the GX

    and there you go....
