For your Second Question.. Yes.. click/select BootMii.. then click/select Install BootMii as IOS then click/select Yes, continue then your SD Card will mount and create Directories to your SD Card then after that process is done click/select Yes, continue then you'll see Uninstalling BootMii/IOS... Removing Title... Deleting Ticket.. Installing BootMii/IOS... Success then go ahead and click Continue then go ahead and click Return to the main menu then go ahead and Exit.. The Homebrew Channel Automatically Start and you can press home and Launch BootMii...

    mate your help is awesome..
    thank you

Im also working on my nieces 4.3e wii at the same time, and I lost power on the wiimote after it verified the backup. will I wreck this wii if I force exit from the nand backup, via the power button. or will it be ok and I can continue to to chapter 2

I can find the folder with all the files in it but i dont know what ones need to be on the SD card for the first chapter. Or do i need to download all 40 files that are there?

    Thanks

The Wii will not wreck that's for sure, it's just reading your Wii's sytem and backing it up to your SD Card but just wait till the NAND backup finishes.. NAND is very important piece on your Wii if something goes wrong or most likely you know how kids when they play Wii the just click everywhere and then eventually they will and the will click something that might mess up your Wii and without the NAND backup your Wii for sure will be screwed that's why It is Important... =)

For every click-able link in the Step/Chapter of the Guide there's a small text written -mirror just go ahead and click that..

    Hi,

I'm having a bit of an issue... I have previously (with OS 4.2) softmodded my Wii.

However, a family member upgraded to 4.3!!! Now, my HBC is gone and only my USB loader is still there (but obviously doesn't work)... I already got stuck on the first part of this tutorial cuz none of the steps to get the HBC on my Wii seem to apply to me...

    Any help would be great!

This site is amazing, maui's guide rocks, i'm on my second Wii in three days, both hacked really nice, and I also sorted my not connecting to the wireless, it was the damn WPA2 AES encryption, set it to WPA TKIP and all is well, I know it is a bit less secure but at least the Wii works on wireless and no more error 5130, thanks guys for helping me out

You could always enable mac address filtering on your router to keep it secure. I know this is off topic ( for anyone who may want to complain) but since the user gave that nice Thank You I thought I would toss out a little suggestion.

    wad\system menu 4.1u\system menu-nus-4.1u-v54449.wad
What do you mean by "try again"? download it again? extract it again? How can i fix this?
