What i mean by jumpy buttons is when i press a button during gameplay it acts like im rapidly pressing it, ie: in brawl when i have a fireflower it does rapid lil bursts of fire instead of a constant stream...

If i take my wiimote to another wii it works fine, and wiimotes that connect to mine experience this issue

Im wondering if theres a way to fix this cuz it makes gameplay slightly more difficult than it should be
Try to change the cios the game is loading with. Perhaps you'll have better luck with another cios. Try cios250

Assuming your loading from a usbloader, when you load the game enter the settings and set whatever cios you like. If your loading from the disc channel and having issues with the game, try to reinstall an updated ios36.

    Am I stuffed?
Hello, hi, gid'day - I am new here and come from Australia. I went out today to buy a Wii - came home connected it all and saw the system number was ver. 4.3E.

I don't have any of the games listed in the tutorial - does this mean I - at the moment - can not softmod my wii?

Yep, you need one of the games listed for your wii's region to softmod

i do believe thatr worked, but now the save game manager crashes with an Exception (DSI) occurred....

perhaps i messed up in the hacking process and mixed a few things up, can i just go into bootmii and reflash the nand from the backup we made in the guide? is it that easy or more complex?

    sorry lol
Ok the advice from mauifrog worked i think, the buttons arent that jumpy anymore. I have gamesaves from my previous wii console that i extracted using the save game manager provided in the AppPack but it crashes on load on my current Wii with an "Exception (DSI) occurred". im wondering if i may have missed something when i was running thru the hacking process and if i should clean my wii using the NAND backup i made from this guide and try again

Sounds like your wii is not online. Open savegame manager gx meta.xml, delete no_ios_reload and it should load with cios249. Also, if you did the guide two weeks more than a week ago, you make want to update ciosd2x4 to d2x6. d2x6 can be found in the update spoiler if you need it.

well i followed the guide yesterday but i didn't redownload all the stuff so i suppose your packages were updated since two weeks ago? Here's a screenshot of the particular error i hope it helps.
