Use the buttons on the wii to navigate back to the main bootmii menu, then exit to HBC.

All I did was hold down the power button for about 4 seconds and the wii will turn off. Have done it to a couplle of wii's i have had to bring back from 4.3e and works fine. Just restart go to HBC and continue.

Did you follow one of our guides to setup your drive? Is your drive compatible? If all of this is true then you need to be asking in the guide you followed.

    Guides here and here.
    Compatibility list here.

I cant get over how incredibly frustrating this process has been. I set everything up and formatted my HDD to FAT32. I copied my games over but I am being told that I cannot launch games using Fat32. So it sounds like I need Hermes, whatever that is. I went to the Hermes post and the link to download it doesnt even work anymore.

Can someone please give me a basic, reader's digest version of what I need to do to get a game on my USB HDD and run the thing? Do I need to find an alternate download for Hermes? Do I need to install this cIOSXrev19 thing which I am assuming means I need to now go back and screw with my SD card again to get bootmii and MMM running again?

You have Hermes if you followed this guide. You should have no issues getting the games to launch. If you followed the fat32 guide in my signature then make a detailed post within that guide and I will help you out. If you didn't follow it then check to make sure you have it set up correctly.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I read somewhere in the original guide post that the wii should have previous cios before being updated to 4.3. Does that mean I should previous have wii soft-moded at least once in order to use the guide? Thanks!

You need to launch the FAT32 games with any cios except 249. If you followed chapter 3, cfgloader should be preconfigured to load ios250. Yous can use ios 247/248/250 222/223/224, but not 249 for fat32 loading.
