    Another thanks from me.
Just finished helping my neighbour who managed to update to 4.3 without knowing what would happen.

Very well written guide. Easy to follow (if you know what you are doing in the first place).

    I have two questions though:
    1. What does the LoadMii channel do? I didn't find any text explaining this in the guide.
    2. If I want to remove a channel (prevent the children from doing stupid things), who do I proceed?

Hi Mauifrog, could not install IOS61 in Part 1 using MMM-58-61-Hackmii_0.8_BB1.zip. I get Title (-1035) 1 did not complete.

now I am trying to restore everything...I am following the Softmod Guide...I used the Indian Jones Lego game to get Homebrew back and install bootmii as boot2...Now here is where the problems begin:

    1) Load HBC, press -HOME-, launch Bootmii, I just get black screen (and my disc drive area starts flashing blue)...

I thought this might the freezing happening mentioned in part 2, and i tried to do IOS36- FIX.html but I can not seem to open my SD icon...every time I click my SD icon, I again get a black screen...

...I am a completely newbie on this and installed all this mods a year ago on it...I don't even remember what cios/ios version I had etc....Really really would appreciate your help
If you have haveing trouble loading MMM via bootmii cboot2, ensure you first formated the sd card prior to extracting the needed files. Otherwise, there is an alternatle methode listed in Chapter 2 part 1 at the end inside a spoiler, if you can't get the cboot2 method to work, use the alternate method. Look for this-
Help Multi-Mod Manager does not load-- try this alternate method

The loadmii channel is there in case you were to lose your HBC from another update. It was initially put in before the 0.7 hackmii update with 4.3 support when 4.3 would remove the HBC. It has not been removed, but it may be or replaced with something else. It is not a terrible thing to have, but it is easily removed from the data management. You can copy it to an sd card, then copy it back via data management should you even need it, just backup it up to your pc with your bootmii files. Also you can move any channels you don't want your kids to mess with to another screen

That is ok, just move on to the next step of the guide and run hackmii. That error suggests you already have an ios61 of a higher version # installed.

    Thumbs up

Thank you very much dude. The guide is really excellent and it is doable even for man like me who is a really beginner to Wii. I just did for 4.3e

    It is working alright.

I have noticed that we cannot make DVDs work on this even with DARKCORP.
Is there anything else i do for to make copied game DVDs on my Wii?

    Million Thanks
