Do not ask when the 4.3 issue will be resolved. There are threads about the 4.3 issue all over the forum. We do not know when a bannerbomb will be available..

Thank you very much for the help with this topic. I do have a question for you.

On step 3 when restoreing the trucha bug, I selected "b" with the remote and it failed. So I then went into the 3 step process by going to IOS15. That went through ok. My question is, when do I need to restore the IOS15? right now, or after all the steps are complete from the whole guide?

    Thanks again

Restore ios15 after you install a patched ios36.

Ok maui, I just used your guide to resoftmod an update 4.2 mishapp for a friend. Everythinkgworked great.
I couldn't do step 6 until I did step 7. I had to come back to it, but it all worked great and was easy to follow.
Do you plan to include optional steps for hermes cios and/or possibly gamecube loader and mios?
Just liked how you included all this stuff and made it alot more universal for other system menu versions.

Priiloader does not suffer the corruption brick from system ios install like preloader. So it is ok to install priiloader, then install, reinstall, etc your system ios- as long as that system ios is good and prooper and will load and do what it should. No system ios, no priiloader. So I don't see any reason why 6 could come before 7, but it also works just as well the other way.

I am glad you did the guide and it worked for you. I had no doubt that it would work well, but the only trouble is people only post back with issues, they don't post back to say- it worked for me. I am glad you did, and it worked, and I am not mental.

As for the guide, it will have a makeup once a method for 4.3 is chosen. I have a link to hermes at the end, but no link to mios. It could be included somehow perhaps. I am always open to useful suggestions.

When Selecting ios236 I was able to proceed to the next menu and reinstall ios36, but still the same problem is there, when I go to the Priiloader and installing the "usb loader gx" then selecting it at autoboot, I still dont get any signal on my TV when I switch on the Wii untill I revert back the autoboot settings to system menu ...

Do I need to go through the guide again ? I mean to re-install all the patches, cIOS, ...etc.

Edit : Its finally fixed !

What I did was the following :
Since my system was previously on 4.2 PAL, and then I fixed the semibrick issue by downgrading to 4.1U , I started thinking that this might be the source of the problem, so aftet reading multiple guides through the forum I decided to redo most of the soft modding steps :
    1- first I uninstalled the stubbed isos (IOS202, IOS222, 223, 249 and 250) using ISO36 in Dop-Mii.

    2- Then I did step 4 from the guide (Install waninkoko's cios57 r19)

3- Since my system is already on 4.1U, I skipped step 5a, and then I did step 5b and 5c, I noticed here that I am running an old ios version and probably this is why I was having the problem!, when I first softmodded my system I couldn't complete this step because my system freezed and I skipped it at that time, now I continued with 5b and 5c and installed all the update ios.

Now my system boots directly to the USB loader, thanks alot for your help and support, it helped me to understand how the Wii OS system works.
