Following you guide, I softmoded my Wii. There wasn't any error during installation.
Everything works as it should work... except some things.

When I tried to watch a video or play mp3, or even browse the SD using WiiMC it crashes and Wii freezes:
    -------------------------
    Exception (DSI) occured!
    GPR00 00000089 etc. to GPR31

    LR 80681EA8 SRR0 80674fa0 SRR1 00001032 MSR 00001000
    DAR 00003634 DSISR 06000000

STACK DUMP and CODE DUMP are given and then after that it reads:

    Reloading in 8 seconds

    Reload
    --------------------------
Wii freezes, so I have to turn it off.

I tried to run WiiMC USB Test but it crashes too.

Then I tried to run sysCheckGX but it freezes during checking IOS9 (it checks IOS4).
I tried syscheck-v2.1.0-b7, too. When selecting option to check all IOSes it freezes during checking IOS9.

When check IOS4 or IOS9 alone it checks them without error. The result of checking IOS9 is:
    ----------------------------------------
    sysCheck v2.1.0b7 by Double_A
    ...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

    Region: PAL
    System Menu 4.0/4.1E (v54450)
Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 running on IOS58
    Hollywood v0x11
    Console ID: 104591222
    Boot2 v3
    Found 97 titles.
Found 47 IOS on this console. 0 of them are stub.

IOS9 (rev 54321): Trucha Bug, NAND Access

    -----------------------------------------

I softmoded a friend's Wii with SM v3.4E and everything works perfectly. WiiMC can play everything and

    there isn't any problem.

Besides that, there is one more difference. Homebrew applications are shown with an icon, name and

description for every app on my Wii (one application per row) and the friend's Wii shows only icons for

every application (three aplications per row). I can post pictures if you need.

    Regards.

    Thumbs up

Guide worked spot on for me (4.3E with SSBB).

Didn't like the loader though as it was being modded for kids to use so put on USB loader GX instead.

Also I appreciate the Anti-Brick settings. I didn't have this on mine when I done it a few years ago as I followed Messie's guide. Fortunately I've never bricked a Wii so far after following guides on this site.

    Great guide. Thanks a lot!!

    Flat480:

I followed a Wii Sports Resort Guide found somewhere here which amounted to:

    1) Go into settings and choose "Player.dol".l Start the game and watch the demonstration video, after which it will crash and reboot your wii.
    2) GO into settings and re-choose the default dol. At this point forward the game should start normally.

I softmodded via this guide and these steps worked fine for me. I used 248, by the way.

So post in that guide because it is totally unrelated to this one. Also if memory serves me correctly we have an outdated guide on that game and the most recent one.
