OK so I finally have a softmodded wii thanks to mauifrog and this guide BUT when I load the CFG USB loader it will not recognize my external HDD unless I unplug it and plug it back in while it is searching. I have a Toshiba 1TB which is on the compatible list. I have it formatted to FAT32 using this guide http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...g-playing.html When it finally recognized my HDD and shows up my games they have no covers (but that is the least of my worries right now) and when I try to load the games I have on there it freezes. What am I doing wrong? And I also have to use my SD card to use the CFG as it will not show up through my USB. ( I am assuming it is because my USB isn't being recognized by my wii at first). Thanks in advance for the help.

You where not supposed to press home and go back to the wii menu. Your wii is semi bricked, if you did not install priiloader it can not be fixed. If you do have priiloader, load it, load the HBC, fix your region settings.

Without priiloader, a semi bricked korean wii can not be fix by any method. Only nand reprogramming would fix it.

The only way is to have the nand reprogrammed.

I believe there is a newer version of WiiFlow then the one your using. Check the two links below for details and downloads. Hope this helps as the IOS update pack shouldn't have an affect on the 4.3 Wii's. So having installed the IOS update on one Wii and not the other shouldn't be the issue. Are you using the same hard drive for both Wii's? CFG loader is much better IMO, but WiiFlow looks a bit better, and can bring the back covers a little closer to view the details clearer. But overall CFG Loader is the greatest and with the Configurator included, everything can be customized so easily!!!

Wow...that's funny. Your in the right place buddy. Just head to the first page and read the entire thing through and take tour time. Do the guide word for word and you'll be running homebrew and games from HD's in no time. Any questions or run into any issues, read it again and search the forums with the search tool at the tops of the pages(it works pretty well). Make sure your hard drive is compatible and make sure to use a non-hcsd SD (2gb is recommended) card for the hacking. But can use a larger one after the mod. And dont skip the NAND backup! It could be your best friend in the case of something going wrong. Good luck!!
