    Maui, or anyone else...
I followed your guide and everything went down perfectly.
Now with my moded wii, when I try to play Super Smash Bros Brawl, when I win the first fight on adventure mode, the screen freezes in black, and the only way is to power off the videogame.
I know it's not the ISO, it works on my friend's wii.
    I tried loading the game with the 248, 249 and 250 cIOS's.

Have you tried a different loader? I've heard of a similar story, where one was running Loader GX, switched to CFG loader, and all was well. I've also heard of people switching from wiiflow to CFG loader. If that is the only game you have trouble with, I would definitely look hard at the loader.
When you say ISO, do you mean WBFS? Or are you attempting to play a burned game?

I don't really understand the channel forwarder option...

For some reason my wii updated yesterday (been going a year without any auto updates!) and now homebrew gone and won't load neogamma just black screen and crashed wii.

The forwarder option I'm guessing I still have everything installed on the wii? So do I just transfer the forwarder option files to my SD card and open neogamma? Well I've tried that and still nothing happens!

Great guide... smooth sailing on everything so far with Homebrew, USB Loader GX, WiiBrew browser but I am unable to install a channel for FCE Ultra GX (DLed from WiiBrew Browser). FCE Ultra GX will load fine from Home Brew... but when I attempt to run the channel installer I get the following error message :

AHBPROT is not enabled! Installer cannot continue.

Did I miss something in the guide, running on 4.3u Thanks!

Forwarders are kinda like shortcuts. Channels that point to the files on your SD Card/USB.

As far as the Wii Update, if you lost your Homebrew Channel and all that. I'm guessing you may need to redo the softmod. But someone here may know better. I'm newbish.

Well, I tried the loader that comes with the apps pack (CFG-USBloader) and with the USB Loader GX 2.0 beta, that I downloaded from USB Loader GX
I'm using a 8Gb Markvision pendrive formated in the WBFS format. I said ISO just to point it's loading from a drive, not from DVD.
I had the NEOgama but it's not working after this mod, I'm gonna download the latest version and try it today.

Does that mean if I update my softmoded Wii by your instructions I can still use USB Loader GX v2.0 with newer IOS or not? Does your words mean that you just don't care about some apps anymore and leave installation and problem to someone else?

    Thanks again.

You can still use usb loader gx 2.0. There were issues for a while with some previous versions and it was removed to prevent those problems. The newest GX is a solid app and works well with this guide setup.

HBC needs to be running on ios58, and your wii may need to be online.
