No. Just follow the guide exactly as is. Once you complete the guide you can install whatever forwarder channels you want.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Those buttons are the one's in front of the console. The Wiimote won't work in BootMii (at least, last I know)

When in BootMii, you'll see 4 (or 5, can't remember) icons and, since there are no pointer, moving through them is made with the use of the console buttons.
Use the button "Power" to move right, button "Eject" will move left and button "Reset" is selecting.

    Cya...

Just put them in sd:\wad\channel and install with the shop channel.

All the files are there in the downloads, all seems fine.
    Its the cios wads,
I have a very similar problem. 11 wads won't get patched (and give error (-1022)). My wii was softmodded in the past (version 4.1 system menu), but accidentally get updated with a new 4.3 which disabled everything. I'm guessing that maybe there is still some old patches lingering around in my system and therefore the new patches won't install.

I'm stuck. I've tried reloading IOS236 and reinstalling, but the same 11 wads always fail.

Huuuh..I'm having some problems here, I have a 4.3E version and im using the SSBB method.
Im using a 1GB SD card and extracting the files there like it says, i also deleted the costum stages on the stage builder thingy and poped my SD card in after as it says, but when i go back to the stage builder, i think the files should load right? But nothing happens :S Any help here?
Not sure if i did some huge mistake or something.

You either have a SDHC card ( a problem i ran into. they work after the mod for me but it seems during the modding process they dont. )
Or you might have skipped the format step...

Or im wrong but those are the only two problems ive ran into.

You could possibly have a cheap brand flash card that just wont work either

I don't why your getting this error, but don't install System menu 4.1 until it is sorted
    1022:
Wad Install Error: Content did not match hash in TMD
Try to load up MMM, ensure that ios236 v54321 is displayed as the loaded ios
    Go to wad manager
    Select cios250 -install
Does it install or give error
If it gives error select cios250 -UNINSTALL
    select cios250 -INSTALL
-Don't ever do this for ios under 200, unless I tell you otherwise.
    Does cios250 install?

Exactly what i thought, thanks for clarifying that. While your there, why do you keep the system menu at 4.1 for this ? i know your guide mentions that it is a patched 4.1 menu, is that to say it has the best parts of the later system menu updates but keeps the rest at it most optimum for hacking for soft modding purposes ?

4.2 and 4.3 (a and b) were designed to do nothing but remove homebrew and brick region-changed Korean Wii's. It was simply a targeted attack, and nothing else. 4.1 was the last System Menu to offer any new features or bugfixes, so you won't be missing anything by not updating, and you won't have the limitations of 4.2 and 4.3. For example 4.2 can only use Bannerbomb v2, and 4.3 can't use either. 4.1 can use Bannerbomb v1 and v2.
