I have a 3.1U Wii, 2GB Sandisk SD card. Formatted using the SD Formatter tool and copied the Jacmii Installer files there. In windows explorer, I can see the boot.dol and 3 folders there but when I plug it into the Wii.

It doesn't load automatically. When I navigate to the SD card, it shows 15060 blocks open but just empty squares. No way for me to load the boot.dol. I also tried renaming it to boot.elf and same results.
Go to wii settings- data managment- channels- SD- Load the boot.dol
Is that the path you are following to get there?

Yes, that's the path. I've tried formatting now with windows as well and same results.

alternate BBv1 files-B, C, D, E- If the boot.dol does not load, try these, just extract to sd:\
did you try any of those?

    Everything installed as (ok!), but...

    Hi Everyone,

Ive searched for solutions, I've read not to virginize my wii, and I followed the Softmod any Wii guide because I had updated a few cios's before (to try and get New Mario Bros Working I think) and my games stopped working (only old ones like Zelda 2006 will work), all newer games like Goldeneye have stopped working. I was able to play my backup Goldeneye through Neogamma before, but now nothing will load, All I get is a black screen from Neogamme or a message that says eject disc and turn off power from the normal disk launch. I am on menu 4.1 after following the guide. Here is what I've tried,

    1) Loading different cios: 222, 223, 249, 250
    2) Latest Neogamma
    3) Backup disc loader that came with update pack
    4) Booting from the main disc screen itself.
    5) Cursing at it...
    6) Installing all wads and apps more than once.

I'm lost and would really like to get back to playing my games. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I will start from scratch if I have to.

    Thank you everyone,
    Distressed

Have tried all of these alternates and still no go. When I'm at the SD screen, no files show up even though it says 15006 blocks open.

I am overwriting the private folder with the alternate one, is that correct?

Something went weird today. I enabled WiiConnect24 to test and see if updating the shop channel to v20 was a success without any errors and it worked perfectly. When I exited to the system menu, my riivolution channel from the riivolution app disappeared. Then I went to settings and it gave me a system files are corrupted message. Then I turned my Wii off and loaded the Wii menu via Bootmii boot2 and it shutted down my Wii. Then I tried it again and everything went back to normal. Why did this happen in the first place?

Rename your old private folder to privateold and leave your new private folder alone.
