I have, tried it as FAT and FAT32 now, and before you ask no it's not sdhc. It's a regular 2GB Sandisk, nothing special.

I have a question, at the begining of this month, i hacked 3 Wii with your old tutorial but yesterday I open your tutorial and saw it was changed. Is there any difference, any problem that was causing bricks? In the old tutorial, 4.1 was optional but not again, updates were optional too. Please reply. I am from Belize, Central America so you have followers here.
If you read the guide carefully 4.1 is STILL optional.. and there are small changes to the cIOs's but nothing that was causing problems.. He added a few game exploits and changed a few steps to assist in the modding process.. If the others work fine then no worries. but there is an update pack if you want to update. Here is his post on the updated guide:

It has been updated, again. What is new?
The guide now installs SM 4.1, patched to v544##. This prevents updates to the SM, it is recommended
Priiloader has been updated to v0.6, but it has been configured to install via cios36
The wad install has been broken up into 3 distinct part, to allow the user to better track errors if any, and avoid any unfortunate incident from such errors. This takes more button pushing, but I think is better for safety.

Many may wonder why I pulled the guide today. Well it is simple, I updated the guide two days ago, it had over 5000 downloads in that two days. In two days 3 out of 5000 reported issue, and this bothers me. So I closed the guide for the day, retested and rethought the whole thing, remade all the packs and tested them. Now their up.
and cios224 was base 37 and is now base 57

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here

You can't load backup wii games from the disc channel, only backup gc games. Your black and white screen suggests that the game is out of region and your tv does not support the signal. When you load the backup channel, press any button to load the options menu, then force it to ntsc or pal.

You did not format. If you had fomated, bootmii would never load, so you did not format.

Did the steps you said (above), everything went well but after reboot and testing i got a freeze again.

If you don't have any other option for me, i will go back to the store and try to get another one or send it in for repair.

If you don't have any options, Thanks for the effort and time.

I think it is your wii, take it back and get another.

If for some reason after you've formatted like the guide stated and it still doesnt work use the MMM from here - Multi-Mod-Manager Guide ,just load it through the homebrew channel (select the app as normal, not through the home button) and follow the guide as normal.

It sounds like you have a region miss match semi brick. A korean system menu with us settings. Open up any region changer mod6 and have a look at the current settings, and current installed system menu, and see if it gives you a region mismatch error. Post back here with what you find and I will tell you what to do.

So do I run the softmod process on my Wii again? or what do I do? If I should hack a next wii, which tutorial should I follow, the new or old one? I have doubts downgrading to 4.1 caz I have 4.2U and 4.3U, I have heard that is is extremely dangerous to downgrade System Menu because it can brick. Tanks
