Nope nothing wrong with it and not really needed anymore as media players and emulators use IOS58 now. Don't worry about it.
    Damn I suck!!!!

So why downgrade iOS202 from [60]-v5.1 to [57]-v5 , all the others have been kept at the same rev as in the previous guide, but this one was downgraded ?

I don't know but as far as I know there isn't much difference between the 2. It's only used for old versions of media players and emulators and v5 or v5.1 will work fine if you ever need to use one.

To update or not to update?

Have been rocking a softmodded Wii for a few weeks now, and have modded a few others since. Noticed a couple of nights ago while doing a friend's Wii that different things were installed. I used this guide and nothing else. My question is, should I update my Wii with the new guide or not? I'm running v58 of CFG Loader, if that is any indication of which revision of this guide I used. I now hear it's up to v60, but I've read that updating anything without being told to do so could be problematic, and as a result have installed no other software other than what was included in the guide at that point in time.

    Thanks!

No you don't need to update your Wii with the new guide. Once you have modded you are good to go. Everyone worry's about following the updated guide....it's just not needed. Maybe 1 - 2 years down the road but not now. If you want to update Cfg then look in the guide in my signature.

Is there any advantage to updating CFG, or am I cool to leave it the way it is? I'd prefer to not try to fix things that aren't broken, but the last thing I want is problems when trying to rip new games and play them.

As long as iOS202[60]-v5.1 doesn't have issues like the ones Priiloader 0.5 had.
Just wandering... What will happen if i tried to apply iOS202[57]-v5 , I used the older guide which had installed iOS202[60]-v5.1 ?
