The priiloader hacks_hash.ini does not have hacks for SM v54448 v54449 v54450 v54454, those had to be added. You need to use the file from the guide, it is the same as on priiloaders site, just modified to work with this guide. And you will be able to update priiloader without issue, but don't dive into that until the update is well tested and you have good reason to do it. Unless you want to.

Took some doing, but I Generally got it finished today, LOL! Was having some trouble installing a USB loader, but otherwise my troubles were trivial and user error
Also pretty funny, Instead of pushing the sequence, Power power power reset reset, I pushed Power power power eject eject. I swear I had it right too. I tried this 3 times LOL! Ahh well. I thought it was funny.
Thought it was bricked initially. I accidentally exited out of hackmii, and it black screened, with flashing blue light. You know...I have only logged maybe an hour of wii play. Complete new b here. I actually compared your tutorial to multiple others including youtube. To compare notes. I really should have just stuck with your tutorial. It would have been less confusing probably. But, in the end it's nearly done. Unless I'm mistaken, all I have to do is load a USB hard drive with games, into the appropriate USB port on the wii, and go from there(properly formatted of course).
I'm currently playing with "wii game manager" to prepare for tomorrow Hopefully the wii is ok with my Rosewill sd reading flash drive. Otherwise, I'll have to trust that the wii can read the 32Gb Sd card.
PD:mauifrog, you say "Hermes- cIOS202-v5.1 for WiiMC" in the tutorial but WiiMC is actually using official IOS58.
It's been several months since I've done this softmod to my 4.3E Black Wii and everything went OK ending with a fully functional 4.1E SM.
I felt so confident with the softmodding that I went ahead and upgraded my softmod with the [ADVANCED]"The Impossible-To-Update" Wii (Super Hard To Brick)
My Wii is working great and everything is as I want to.
It was only after that that I saw your "Chapter 3 - Optional extra layer of brick protection" (I don't think it existed when I've done the softmod).
So, if you would be so kind to tell me more about it, I would like to know how to do it and in what case scenerio it would be required to do it.
I have a USB HDD with a FAT32 partition where I have my Homebrew apps and I already have the Indiana_PAWNS.rbk in the root and I've installed the Nintendo Backup (250) to my WBFS partition (in the same USB HDD).
I still have the first TT Indiana_PAWNS save game in the Wii, so I'm a bit confuse about this and since I a bit of an avid for knowledge, the best way to know is asking to the real Gurus,
Thank you in advance for your reply...
