The thing is that I want to use this method following the instructions, but I am kinda noob, I donīt know how to proceed, I mean, should I start from the scratch? What should I do first? I donīt have a NAND backup yet.

    Thanks in Advance.
Friends, I have managed to know what that person did on that wii, and I am not quite sure If following your guide I īwonīt brick it. These is what he did:
    - Hombrew Channel and Bootmii as IOS were installed.
    - Then there are some instruction he followed:
1.- Using Wad Manager, he installed a IOS249wad
2.- Right after that He unistalled the same wadIOS he already installed
3.- He installed NEOGAMMA R8 FINAL AUTOBOOT
4.- Removed SD and put it back to pc; erase boot.dol
    5.- Renamed the cIOS38_rev14-Installer.dol as boot.dol
6.- Launched Bootmii; a CIOS Installer was executed
7.- Where it says IOS249, go to the right until it appear DO NOT RELOAD IOS. Press A to go next
8.- As defult, It will say WAD INSTALLATION. Press A to continue
    9.-It will install:
    PAtching Custom IOS, please wait...

I am planning to post a syscheck here but when I look at it, the words like es_identify or nand access in the rectangle, part of the word is showing. When I paste the entire report here, I cant even delete the words? Why is this happening? Do I have to edit some kind of setting on Microsoft Excel?

I dont think I was supposed to turn it off when I took out the sd card to put the other file on it. NOw when I turn it on its just black screen. Is there anything I can do??? please tell me yes this was not my wii in the first place. thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Im confused....so you were in MMM and after you finished the wad installs (and they all installed correctly?) you turned off the Wii. Now it boots to a black screen? You didn't need to turn off your wii to remove the SD card.

Also from what you described it shouldn't have bricked. Did you make your NAND backup? Do you have bootmii installes as boot2 (im guessing you have it installed a an IOS).
    Damn I suck!!!!

yes I was in MMM, I installed all the wad files, then it came time to downgrade my system to 4.1, I turned off my system to take out the card, put the 4.1 on the sd card, then when I tried to boot up again it is just a blank screen.
I did make a nand backup.
yes i installed bootmii as boot2. I followed all instructions to the 't' except I didnt know whether or not I should have turned off the wii before I took out the card to put the 4.1 file on it first. I DID turn it off because I thought I might mess up something as I thought MMM was running off of the sd card.

Exit to HBC and remove the SD card, do what you want with it and put it back in (for future reference).

Well you have bootmii as boot2 so you should be fine. I would run a syscheck and look at it. Make sure you have IOS60 installed and that it's NOT a stub (very important).. If you do have it installed then use the first pack from the guide to boot into MMM (if you have bootmii as boot2 it will load MMM when you boot the wii with the files from the pack on your SD card). Once in MMM go to "Load another IOS" and select IOS236 - Press A.

Go to Wad Manager (In MMM Main menu) and install the system menu 4.1 wad for YOUR REGION (very important). Make sure it installs with no errors. If it gives you an error stay in MMM and come back and post here.

EDIT: You don't have to run a syscheck just Load MMM and go to IOS manager in the main menu....hover over IOS60 and make sure it's installed (it will be displayed in YELLOW if it's installed). There is an MMM guide in my signature if you want to use that as a reference.

sorry I am a little slow, I copied back the hackmii stuff as well as the stuff the tutorial said to save to my computer back onto the sd card. I put in the sd card and started up, it is still a blank screen. do I have to do something to boot to boot2?
