To load bootmii in chapter 1 and make a nand backup, you need the bootmii files from chapter 1
To load MMM via cboot2 bootmii launch in chapter 2, you need the bootmii files from chapter 2

Ive used this guide many times and love it, I link everyone here when I get a chance. My question is (was, as I think I answered it myself from your post #2), I thought darkcorp was installed (optionally) to allow backup disks to run w/o a modchip, but this

    Why do you install ios16, cIOS30, cIOS36, cIOS50, cIOS60, and cIOS70?
tells me these ios/cIOS do exactly that. Am I reading this correctly as I am just trying to improve my hacking skills, and learn and consume as much "correct" info as I can. Thanks

Actually I just put MMManager on the apps folder and I launched it with HBC just fine.

But I have a different problem after that; -2011? I think it explains itself.

They let users with drives that can read backup dvd media load recovery disks that run on ios250 or ios36 without the need for a modchip. So if the user losses priiloader, they could recovery from a bannerbrick using savemiifrii and a recovery disc. They are also version patched to 54321 preventing Nintendo from updating them, they support SM 1.0-4.3+ on any wii even lu64 wiis, they prevent error 003 on Korean wii, they remove stubbed system ios preventing downgrade/upgrade stubbed ios brick types, they also have trucha patch and es-identify so you can play wiiware from the sd-card, etc. It is not a DARKCORP install, but the ios are dip patched and taken from cIOSCORP 3.6, but you can not play games from the disk channel without DARKCORP, you need to install it for that, but most disc that run on ios36 or ios250 and other dip patched cios should run from the disk channel without a modchip.

That explains everything. Deviation from the guide = FAIL. Start over from chapter 2 and don't do anything unless it tells you to.

Yeah about that: MMM will not load when I try to with by booting BootMii, So I figured that placing it like an app would work. That's the onlydeviation I did and I'm pretty sure it shouldn't affect IOS installation.

I would format your sd-card and start chapter 2 over, try try try again if you need to.

Is it really necessary? Thing is, I banner-bricked my Wii and this is me trying to restore everything. Last time I've tried it Didn't give me problems. I'm in 4.1u if it has anything to do with that. Maybe I need to patch I0S36?

Thanks a bunch for your guide I successfully modded my wii with your old version of this guide. My question is I noticed you added new updated wads in the packs and I want to replace my old ones with these newer ones. Can I just do this step again but with the new pack, or is these another way. Thanks again!

    Part 1- Wad Installs
Start HBC, press [HOME], Launch Bootmii
    Multi-Mod Manager Starts (via cboot2)
Never Uninstall IOS, you will brick your wii
Never Uninstall IOS, you will brick your wii
Select "WAD Manager" - Press A
Press (1) to "Install all Wads" - Press A
All wads should install without error
    "Press any button to continue"
Be sure all the wads install, very important
Press B two times- main MMM menu
Never Uninstall IOS, you will brick your wii

You can do that, if you do, delete the usbloader gx and backup loader channel from data management first, or you'll have doubles. Then add the apps from chapter 3 to your sd card.
