Install ios60-v6174 with patches from sd card
Install ios70-v6687 with patches from sd card
Install ios53-5406 with patches from sd card
Test out that NSMB, and have a look into usb loading.
Mediafire is toast for the moment, is it possible to get these files uploaded somewhere else please?

I have a black wii which I bought 2 days ago and updated on Sep, 6, 2010 US time Pacific- the current version if 4.3U. In addition I am hesitant to try modding my wii because my internet drops for approx. 5 seconds sometimes. Taking into account all I have said and recognizing that you are a reputable source, would you recommend I attempt the softmod procedure you described?

    Thank you
It works fine for all 4.3u/e/j wiis.

Thank you for your fast reply. Has anyone tried modding after the September 7 update?

You need the bootmii folder that was created in chapter 1 and that you backed up to your pc, not the bootmii folder from chapter 2.

Just extract the file to your sd-card, the wads are already in /wad
