Did you follow this guide? If you did, you would already have cIOS249 installed.

    Hi,

1st, I would like to thanks for the guide which make it really easy.
I do have a quick question now that I got the system running.
My current system has the following was 4.3u and downgrade it to 4.1 according to the guide.
I would like to use fat32 file system with the USB.

    1) Can I upgrade the IOS 249 to the latest version that can support fat32? I know the guide said don't but wondering since I downgrade (4.1) it already & block all update.
    2) If yes, is there any good all-in-one tool that can do the mass IOS update (pimp my wii or something)?

    3) If no, what is the best IOS to use for the fat32 file system?
    Thanks,

I had the exact same issue if using fat32 file system. I had to switch to IOS-222 or something.
This is the reason why I asked the question just now in this thread.

DO NOT USE PIMP MY WII OR ANY OTHER GUIDE NOT ON THIS SITE

And here is a fat32 guide to follow
FAT32 Hard Drives - Formatting, Loading, Ripping, Playing
** if you followed this 4.3 guide correctly you have everything you need. just follow the fat32 guide for your hdd and your set.

also use priloader and block online and disc updates manually and dont forget to save. downgrading to 4.1u from this guide is fine it was just optional.

this is what you have if followed correctly:

Can you run a system check? there is a link in my signature.. then post it in a "spoiler tag"
part one you download:Hackmii_0.8_IP_SS_BB2.zip (make sure you extract to the root of the sd directly not the desktop)
makes sure bootmini.elf is in sd:\ (the root)
you used the game exploit, you load bootmii, go to the sd menu( in bootmii if you can access it) and load the bootmini.elf
    Install HBC

does bootmii not start at all?

not sure how to spoiler tag, but no.. I can't run a system check unless there's a way to do it without HBC installed.. as that's the problem I'm trying to solve... I tried renaming the boot.dol to a boot.elf and running it with the exploit (I was pretty sure it wouldn't work).. it opens it.. "no valid elf image detected, retrying, sd card not found, usbgecko not found, no code found to load, hanging.."

pg338 (not 238, that was a typo) has the rest of my story if it helps..
